Hmmm, salmo… erm, CSS! (And cats)

Everyone probably knows that O’Reilly books are cool. They’re cool for what’s inside, but the thing that surely matches this in terms of coolness is the cover art. Inspired by Stuff on my cat (which will probably be down because of bandwidth issues) I figured that it’d be a neat (but oh so unoriginal) idea to display my newest purchase… just wondering whether he’s aware of the salmons…

Propagating the “stuff on cat” concept to a forum proved quite fruitful. For example this beauty:

Thanks to Hezik for letting me show this utterly cool picture of his cat ;) .

I’m sorry to be the one to point this out, but this page contains an xml error and generates in real browsers something like error on line 8 at column 73: Entity 'raquo' not defined. See also screenshot (pdf)

Hey, thanks. I thought I got rid of those named entities by replacing them with their numerical counterparts in my template, but it appears that some of them reside in Wordpress’ own code. That’s kinda strange, as the text processing engine does explicitely make use of numerical character entities… I tested things on Konqueror and I thought it was sufficient Safari testing (given the fact that I still don’t have a mac :P ), so thanks for noticing :) .
